The last session was the breakthrough moment for me. It was a very long session but it really gave me an insight to how I needed to change and what I needed to do. I started sharing what we discussed with my manager and my peers. We had some very productive discussions and agreed on a collective objective. “Ask for permission or beg for forgiveness” I realised it was down to me to make the change and really don’t take or make the excuses. Most importantly what I’m working on is the manager vs leader. I started being more aware of what I’m doing and what I should be doing and correcting very quickly. It is tough but it is work in progress. There is still much more to improve but the sessions are really great and it is pushing me no doubt but I do feel I’m on the right path to where I need to be “awareness” is a great start.
